RELAX AND PICK THE FLOWERS

Experience the beauty and joy flowers offer. The flower field at the farm has seasonal flowers from April to Frost.
It is our goal to have all the ingredients to make a lovely bouquet. Variety is important and you will find wide selection of flowers and greens.

The 2025 Flower season will open mid April!!

YOU PICK FLOWERS

You Pick Flowers are fairly simple. You will be given a vessel of your choice to place your flowers in and a pair of snips.

Then, you cut as many flowers that can fit into the cup! No need to bring anything – just a pair of farm shoes and
sunscreen.

We do have bees and pollinators enjoying the flowers. They are very interested in the flowers than the people who cut them.

PRICING PER VESSEL

HARVESTING TIPS

1. Try to cut the stem as long as possible and right above a pair of leaves or a node.

2. Strip the leaves off the stem that will be in the water. This can be done when you get home or in the field. (The leaves in the water will cause bacteria and significantly decrease vase life.)

3. Enjoy yourself and the flowers!

EXPERIENCE FLOWERS + GARDEN

We are now offering two types of workshops to get a more in depth understanding of flowers!

We have a full harvest and bouquet workshop that focuses on how to harvest the flowers at the right stage. Then, we focus on how to arrange the flowers into a bouquet.

The second type of workshop is a mini session that takes a tour through the gardens at the Ivy Place and ends with a brief harvesting and bouquet instruction.

OUR COMMITMENT

While we are not certified organic, we use the best farming practices for the health of our land and the safety of our customers to provide delicious, wholesome food! We do not use herbicides or pesticides, but utilize mulch to control weeds, build soil structure, and retain moisture, and pollinators and “good” insects!
